FDLA sponsors Dr. Burmeister Grant of up to $1,000 for projects to improve Distance Learning Education in any field.
The Board is looking for high quality projects which will improve Distance Learning education at any level in any subject area. Project ideas will be judged on originality, uniqueness, and the potential impact on teachers and students.
Any FDLA member with three years of experience in the State of Florida may apply. Members of the Board of Directors of FDLA are not eligible to receive this Grant Award. The annual deadline for applications is May 1. The person receiving the grant will be required to submit a written reflection about the project’s implementation and success, to be included in FDLA’s journal or newsletter.
The grant’s committee consists of the Awards Committee of FDLA. This Committee will review all applications and make recommendations to the Board for approval.
